…Or rather, “into the outskirts of the woods where the trees are pretty but still safely far away from the interior of the woods and all nefarious creatures that live there, like bears and disturbingly fearless squirrels.”
It has officially gone freezing (quelle surprise!) and with that, the Age of the Long Coats is upon us.
Or as I like to call it, Snape-spiration. The man has mastered the art of the long coat quite perfectly.
The plethora of long coats at my disposal is due to the extensive winterwear wardrobe of my mother and grandmother. Over the years, we have accumulated enough long coats to fill a closet (and we have, literally), and while I might not be bringing them all with me to university because vintage Italian fashion does not pair well with Burnetts, I love styling them when I’m home.
Though I have managed to sneak a couple away for personal use, this long, black Stefanel coat being one of my new prized possessions.
I went for another monochromatic look with black skinny trousers and black booties under my long coat, along with a soft grey turtleneck for some contrast. Part of the reason I love monochromatic looks is because of how well they emphasize bright lipstick- and we all know how well I love a good red lippie.
